No pictures because today was seriously the MOST BORING FOOD DAY EVER! It can’t get much worse than eating exactly the same thing for breakfast and lunch.
Breakfast: 1/2 cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese, a little pineapple, some honeydew melon.
Lunch: A whole cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese and some honeydew melon.
Blah.
Because of yesterday’s bad [...]

Yup, had a snack while watching Ace of Cakes. I had low-sugar Brown Sugar and Cinnamon Oatmeal. I had two packets because they are only 100 calories each and they are smaller than regular oatmeal packets. Pretty good!
Mmmm…raw fish!

So last night I went out to Aki Sushi with a friend of mine. No pics, because she would have thought that was weird. I wish I had though because wow! that place was amazing and the food was beautiful. We started with the Eel Napoleon and the Summer Roll, which had [...]
Strawberry Fields Forever

What does that title mean? Well, the past couple of days I’ve been eating strawberries like they’re going out of style…or should I say season? Pretty soon the only strawberries around will be tasteless ones flown in from remote countries, so I’ve been enjoying the delicious ones that are still available.
Last night for dinner I [...]
A Use for Brown Rice?

I admit it, I am not a rice fan. I don’t really like rice of any kind, except with sushi, and I actually often eat the fish off at least half of the rice beds (should I just order Sashimi?). The other night at the Chinese restaurant, I got brown rice on the side of [...]

Wow I walked really far today after school. With a friend I walked from City College (138th and Amsterdam) all the way back home to the upper east side, which was about 3.5 miles. This was in addition to the 6.5 miles i ran earlier, so I’m pretty impressed that my legs held up as [...]

I did a little grocery shopping this afternoon.
Quite the haul, eh. I didn’t buy anything too exciting, just basic stuff, but I finally remembered to buy pasta sauce, which makes me happy. Also, notice the large vanilla soymilk in the back? I am officially obsessed with this stuff. Oddly enough, I really like it in [...]
Breakfast and a 6-miler

Boy is it humid out there today. I did six miles in Central Park and I was just dripping sweat. Ugh. My legs felt a little tired from all the working out I’ve done over the weekend, but after a couple of miles they loosened up and I started to feel good. [...]
Catch-Up and Some Chinese

The BBQ yesterday was amazing. My sister-in-law is a great cook and she never buys anything if she can make it from scratch. For appetizers she made pigs in a blanket, her own onion dip, and a buffalo chicken dip that was so amazing. All this food was definitely really unhealthy, but so delicious that [...]
BBQ Time

This is just a quick post because I’m running late for a BBQ at my brother and sister-in-law’s house.
I did get snacky last night so I ate a Kashi GoLean chocolate Peanut Crunchy bar and a Clif bar too! I think that I didn’t eat enough all day and I had a pretty [...]
