I took a run today. Oh, and a little yesterday too. Yay, I’m slowly coming back!
Yesterday I ran 30 minutes on the treadmill in 3 intervals. I went slow (seriously slow…like 13 minute mile pace…I told you it was slow!) and lifted weights in between the intervals. I really like this workout and I think I’m going to continue doing it over the summer, but with the intervals run at a much faster pace.
Today I went running outside since it was about 70 degrees out! I ran 4 miles along the East River, at probably an 11 minute mile pace. Slow, so very very slow. But it felt really nice. My legs are still tired, but they don’t really hurt any more. I think tomorrow I might try to go for 5 or 6 in Central Park.
