I am the worst blogger ever, and will probably continue to be. It’s been hmmm well over a month since my last post…life got in the way unfortunately! Also, I’m just really bad at commitment.
June was hectic, to say the least. Wrapping up the end of the school year plus having grad school every night after work left little time for internet shenanigans. I still have grad school 4 days a week, but I’ve decided to slack off this summer and not do any reading, so I should have more blogging time.
I was just looking at my race schedule and I should probably change that. No NYC Marathon for me. Booooooo!!!! Boooooo!!! I think I’m going to sign up for Philly, but I’m still daunted by the idea of starting marathon training in the fall while working full time and going to grad school twice a week. Alas, I should probably just sack up and go for it, right? Someone make this decision for me!
I’m visiting the bf in New Haven (he’s interning here for the summer) this weekend. I LOVE LOVE LOVE New Haven. So many good restaurants and nerdy-cute undergrads. Last night we went to Bar and had pizza with spinach, tomatoes, and sausage. The bf ate about 2/3’s of the large pie he insisted on us ordering. Honestly, it was an impressive sight to see him wolfing down pizza….it was like he was worried they were going to take it away from him.
Wow, blogging is like riding a bicycle, isn’t it? I already feel like I’m back in the groove. Right now I’m off to run and then do some work for school while scoping out the undergrads. Have a good one!

Hey, I’m glad to see that you’re still alive! I was getting worried.
That’s funny that you like New Haven so much. Everyone I know thinks it’s a shithole.
Your fall sounds busy–maybe a spring marathon would be better. You could do a half in the fall, does Philly offer one?
